Daily Living

Older adults who are visually impaired often struggle with everyday tasks such as handling personal finances, preparing meals or taking medications.  Our certified vision rehabilitation therapist teaches seniors techniques to accomplish these daily tasks and maintain independence.

Technology

Senior at computerAdaptive technology has the potential to greatly reduce the challenges of vision loss. Video magnifiers and talking computer programs are just two of the tools that can help seniors read, continue hobbies and stay in touch with loved ones.

Orientation and Mobility

The ability to move about safely within one’s home and community is crucial to living independently. Our Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialists teach seniors to use and develop their remaining senses for safe and independent travel.
