Movie Night

Friday, April 27; 6:30 pm
Vision Forward Association
School-age children with visual impairments, including those with additional disabilities, are invited to enjoy The Muppets movie, complete with concessions. The movie will include audio description, a bonus track which describes action, scenery and other visual elements for people who are unable to see the screen. Please bring $1 to exchange for “movie money” to purchase snacks and beverages.  Register by Monday, April 23.

Let’s Get Cooking

Learning to help in the kitchen builds confidence, promotes independence and is a fun way for children to contribute to the life of the family. School-age children of all ages are invited to join us for hands-on instruction in basic food preparation skills. Participants will enjoy the food that is prepared.  Register by Friday, May 11.

All Aboard! Planning Your Summer Travel

Milwaukee Intermodal Station

$7.50 (for train ticket)
Enhance your confidence in traveling this summer by taking an interactive tour of the Milwaukee Intermodal Station.  Join representatives from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Amtrak and Greyhound as you climb aboard a train and a bus and explore their services.  Then put your travel skills into practice as you purchase a train ticket and take a short train ride. Youth and adults welcome!   Register by Tuesday, June 12.
