On January 1, 2010, the Badger Association of the Blind and Visually Impaired and the Center for Blind and Visually Impaired Children merged to become Vision Forward Association.
At Vision Forward, we focus on ability, not disability, because we know that what people can do is far more important than what they can't do. For this reason, we work to empower and educate individuals and families not only about vision issues, but also about the social and emotional aspects of vision loss.
Empower, educate, and enhance the lives of individuals impacted by vision loss through all of life's transitions.
All individuals with vision loss have reached their full potential to lead active, independent lives.
The people we serve are part of all of our lives as family members, coworkers, friends, and neighbors. They are passionate and creative people who want the same things as those who are sighted: a good education, a loving family, a supportive community, and a successful and fulfilling career.
